WORKOUT DESCRIPTION

The Workout Brief is held before each segment of the class. During the brief, the coach will provide detailed information about the movements, the workout type, the expectations for the workout, and any scaled versions of each movement.

WARM UP

The goal of a general warm-up is to warm the joints and body, prevent injury, elevate heart rate, and prepare the body for exercise. A part of the Free Intro and every class is our concentration on the importance of using the general warm-up for the focused and dedicated development of basic human movement patterns.

STRENGTH AND SKILL

Almost every class will have a strength or skill development component following the brief and warm up. This element of the workout routine ensures that you are able to develop pure body strength or be able to focus on drills to enhance a skill (often one needed for the following workout routine segment, the WOD).

CONDITIONING

The Workout of the Day, or the WOD as it is commonly called, is the heart of our workout routine. Varying from day-to-day, the WOD mixes up the workout routine and utilizes HIIT(High INTENSITY interval Training) and strength training. The WOD is dedicated to pushing oneself daily as well as to assist our members in achieving their goals in fitness.
